The Position

Due to an internal promotion, we are recruiting a Training Officer (Workplace-Based Assessment) to join our Education & Training Department. Please note this is a full-time/permanent position based in Melbourne, Australia.

The primary purpose of the role is to assist the Training Coordinator (WBA) with ensuring that the Trainee Progression Review Panels are provided with management and support services in the discharge of their duties. In addition, the role provides high quality advice and service to supervisors and trainees in relation to their progression through the FACEM Specialist Training Program.

This position involves organising regular meetings, workshops and training events and their associated administrative functions, such as preparing agendas, minutes and reports. The role is responsible for regularly performing evaluation and process improvement of Training Program Policies, procedures, Training handbooks and other training related communication media.

To be successful in this role you will require a passion for customer service and administration, strong oral and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail, accurate data management and prioritising abilities. In addition, well-developed stakeholder engagement skills and the capability to interact effectively with a range of people is essential.
