When it comes to our environment, the Australian Conservation Foundation has been leading the way in protecting our living world for over half a century.
We are the national environment organisation committed to caring for Australia’s unique and beautiful wildlife and natural world. We’re inclusive, non-partisan and funded by the Australian community.
Whether it’s advocating for the Great Barrier Reef, koalas snoozing in big old trees or for strong climate action, our dedicated community of more than half a million people are constantly working to create a world where forests, rivers, people, and wildlife thrive.
The Communications Manager is the custodian of ACF’s brand and our big, bold marketing strategies! You’ll be at the helm of a small but mighty team, responsible for ACF’s brand strategy, graphic design, out of home advertising, communications plans, messaging, narrative, merchandise and brand partnerships.
This is a varied, highly collaborative, and strategic role, with the chance to bring your big, creative ideas to life and make a massive impact on changing the story on nature and climate in Australia.
You have proven experience leading high-ambition and high-impact managing marketing strategies (online and out of home).
You’re a skilled storyteller at heart, who understands the magic of simple, effective messaging delivered via the right messenger (if you’ve had experience with influencers, that’s a bonus).
You have played a leading role in a website redevelopment project.
A brand champion, you understand that brand is not simply a logo but is the whole identify, look, feel and experience of your organisation (and help others to understand this, too).
You are highly collaborative, sharing your knowledge freely and you love supporting others to succeed.
As a manager, you’ve got experience coaching and developing staff to do their best work and have fun along the way.
You’ll do important work with one of Australia’s most impactful organisations, and with our world-class organisational culture and great team, we guarantee you’ll have fun along the way.
ACF is proud to offer our staff a supportive workplace with excellent conditions, including:
People are at the heart of everything we do to protect our planet. To achieve the bold change we seek, we must represent the richness of diversity within our communities so that all of us who care about nature can step up and lead.
ACF is committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants. We actively encourage First Nations people, people from CALD backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ people, people with disability and others who have diverse experiences of our world to apply for this opportunity.
