The Australian Conservation Foundation is Australia’s national environment organisation – 700,000 people creating a world where forests, rivers, people and wildlife thrive. In 2021 we are again running the ACF Fellowship program – a structured training and volunteering opportunity for emerging campaigners, community organisers and communicators.
Through the ACF Fellowship, you’ll be part of a supportive workplace where you can:
The volunteer commitment is two days per week from February to July 2021. You'll be working on some of the most exciting environmental campaigns in Australia, like securing a green stimulus package for green jobs or getting a new generation of nature laws that actually protect the places we love.
The role could see you coaching our groups on environmental campaigns, leading a national team onboarding new volunteers, collecting powerful stories, evaluating our people-power efforts or supporting new Community Groups as they get up and going.
The Fellowship is suited to driven, passionate and committed people who reflect the diversity of backgrounds and experiences in our communities. If that’s you, but you’re worried you don’t have all the skills outlined in the position descriptions, please apply anyway!
