Purpose of the Temp Marketing Assistant

As a Temp Marketing Assistant at Achieve Australia, your primary goal is to assist the Marketing and Communications Partner with the coordination and delivery of events for the months of April and May 2024. This is a part time, fast paced role specialising in events coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create bump in and bump out plans for events
  • Move stock according the event floor plan
  • Assist in briefing event staff and volunteers
  • Uphold risk assessments and emergency management plans
  • Create signage and name tags
  • Work with the marketing and communications team to deliver campaigns and collateral for events
  • Develop and deliver engagement activities to attract customers and visitors to event booths
  • Additional administrative tasks include the ordering of event stock and printing

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Background and experience in marketing and events management
  • Ability or willingness to learn systems such as Humanitix, Canva and HubSpot
  • Strong administrative skills and ability to prioritize tasks, and a commitment to delivering on a tight schedule
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Your own vehicle and drivers licence
  • Demonstrated experience preparing event reports
