• $97,397.04 base salary + 11.5% superannuation + NFP salary packaging options

About the role and program

The Community Support Program (CSP) is a vital service that compliments Corrections Victoria's specialist case management model. The CSP provides pro-active, practical and individualised assistance that facilitates post-sentence order offender's access to a range of community supports and services that address their multi-faceted needs.

Success as a Team Leader requires you to have strong leadership qualities, an enthusiasm for supporting and developing others, and a sound understanding of the challenges faced by people exiting custody. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day service delivery of CSP, supervising a medium sized team to ensure quality client outcomes. 

The beauty of this role is that no two days are the same! Therefore, you'll be someone who loves variety, presents with a calm demeanour and is comfortable juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment!

What we're looking for

Whilst the below are important to us, if you don't meet all the criteria, that's ok! We are most focused on finding someone with a "can do" attitude, who is aligned with our values, and is flexible team player! Ideally, you'll also have/be:

• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role (highly advantageous)
• A minimum diploma level qualification in Community Services, Mental Health or a similar
• Ethical, self-motivated and committed to helping others achieve their goals.
• Knowledge of the challenges faced by those leaving the prison system, and a willingness to successfully work with those presenting with high-risk offence histories
• A high level of emotional intelligence and ability to effectively lead others during times complexity, ambiguity and/or fast pace
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Capable of establishing and maintaining clear professional boundaries
• A strong sense of personal accountability and resilience
