About the role:

As the Manager, Uni Step-Up, your role is critical for delivery on one of the key elements of ACU Widening Participation Plan, pre-access program Uni Step Up and its online version Uni Step-Up Online. You'll be responsible for the planning and delivery of ACU's Uni Step-Up and Uni Step-Up Online programs nationally. The position is responsible for the national development and improvement of processes, planning, implementation, management and evaluation of Uni Step-Up and Uni Step-Up Online. This includes budgetary, staff and stakeholder management responsibilities, collaborating with staff, and developing and implementing activities resulting in student enrolments. You'll be required to deliver on Key Performance Indicators as set in the Equity and Inclusion Operational Plan within the allocated budget and timelines. You'll work in collaboration with faculties, directorates and external stakeholders and will coordinate the Equity and Inclusion teams nationally in the strategic development of robust and sustainable partnerships across sectors with relevant schools, TAFE, government departments and community organisations, in order to facilitate the expansion of the Uni Step-Up and Uni Step-Up Online program, with a particular focus on the recruitment of students from Low Socio-Economic Status backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, and students from regional/remote Australia.

What we offer:

  • Total remuneration valued to $130,436 - $145,816 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $110,220 - $123,227 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
