In this exciting role you will lead population health needs assessments within the Adelaide Primary Health Network region and design of effective solutions, based on evidence and intelligence, for a range of activities.

about the role

As a member of a dynamic and talented Planning and Performance team, the Planning and Design Coordinator will:

• Lead planning and design of Adelaide PHN programs and activities in line with strategic and operational requirements.
• Support the delivery of outputs, activities, and projects in line with the Adelaide PHN Commissioning Framework and organisational accountabilities.
• Apply design methodologies (including person centred and co-design) and develop logic to ensure programs and activities are informed by evidence and evaluation outcomes.
• Contribute to collection analysis, dissemination and use of information for the purposes of design quality improvement and evaluation.
• Support collaborative and integrated approaches through partnership and consultation for the purposes of design and co-design.

This is a full-time, fixed-term (parental leave cover) contract until 31 December 2025.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Significant experience working in health care and/or public health.
• Demonstrated experience in health planning, design, and/or development of activities, processes and services.
• Demonstrated capability to apply design methodologies (including person-centred and co-design) to meet identified health needs.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the Australian Health System including new and emerging models of care and evidence-based approaches.
• Proven ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and communities.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in project management.
