The Role

In this role you will:

  • Develop, Maintain, and Administrate APHNs Data Warehouse.
  • Provide strategic guidance on the future state design of APHNs Data Warehouse.
  • Assist in the development and troubleshooting of ETL processes.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of data specifications for the purpose of data collection.
  • Assisting with the ingestion and quality assurance of data into internal and external dashboards and reports.
  • Contribute expert advice in the design and development of new systems that add value to Adelaide PHN.

About You

To be successful in this role you’ll:

  • Extensive experience with Database/Data warehouse modelling including:
    • Being able to apply a data warehouse methodology.
    • Consistently follow standards and ability to contribute to the development of comprehensive documentation.
  • To display mature development practices including:
    • Understanding of source control
    • Merge requests / peer reviews.
    • CI/CD and maintaining multiple environments.
  • Provide support documentation and evaluation of migration processes.
  • Database admin skills, such as permissions management, backup configuration, performance tuning.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • To be Intellectually curious – demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development with a growth mindset that is applied practically in terms of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • The ability to understand the full nuances of data.
  • To be able to apply forward thinking / big picture thinking to database design.
