About you

We are looking for experienced support workers who are focused on supporting people with disabilities to support them in leading their best life.

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • Experience working with clients with varying needs
  • Must have own vehicle & comprehensive insurance 
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate, Working With Children Check, NDIS clearance
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Passport, Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate current Australian work rights
  • Willingness to complete National and International Police Check
  • Able to complete Pre-Employment Medical Assessment (paid for by Afford)
  • Up to date COVID-19 vaccinations*

What you’ll be doing

Providing high quality support to our clients with things like: personal care, community access, meal preparation and supporting clinical care needs.

Additionally, you’ll be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure client’s wellbeing is optimised which could entail reading and contributing to health care plans, communicating regularly with families, and other carers.

Most importantly, building person-centred relationships with our valued clients, and keeping their best interest at heart.
