About the opportunity

The Finance Manager is responsible for assisting the FC with the development and maintenance of the organisations financial platform, including staff, systems and infrastructure to ensure efficient operations and integrity of internal and external reporting of the current business and future growth.

The Finance manager will provide strategic and operational support to the FC to support financial growth.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Help FC with year-end reconciliation and journals
• Help FMs with month-end process when needed especially when the FM is on parental leave in Aug
• Work with FMs and FC to help with the annual audit process
• Other ad-hoc reports and any other projects given by FC/FM if required 

About the candidate

• Must have CA/CPA and bachelor in Australia
• ERP experience is a must to have, beneficial to have NAV experience
• Beneficial to have NFP experience (preferably in the disability sector)
• 5 years or more experience in a senior accounting role, 10 or more yrs. overall accounting in Australia
• To be hands-on
• Advanced Excel skills
• Able to get works done within the tight timeframe under minimal supervision
