The Aboriginal Family Legal Services (WA) aims to provide free, culturally secure legal support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims and survivors of family violence and/or sexual assault.

We are seeking a Regional Coordinator to work at our office on Miriwoong Gajirrabeng country (Kununurra). The successful applicant will in collaboration with the Managing Solicitor help shape the direction of the Aboriginal Family Law Services in the respective region under the guidance of a Principal Legal Officer and work with a degree of independence.
The Regional Coordinator is responsible for the management of all non-legal staff and overall service delivery of their allocated office. They will ensure that the office is meeting all legal reporting requirements, and all service and operational delivery is prepared and executed thoroughly. They will need to have a strong connection to the local community and stakeholder groups and work to lead the general operations of the office.
In addition, the successful applicant with have the managing responsibility for the 3-5 non-legal staff in the office and will be required to oversee internal administration practices. This includes overseeing internal administration systems including client databases including client and referral entries. Managerial duties including probations, appraisals for staff reporting to this role, and the approval of leave and timesheets. They will also be in the position of Workplace Health and Safety representative for that office.
