We are the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS), the Australian Government’s key independent research body and advisor in the area of family wellbeing, based in Melbourne’s CBD. We produce research about ‘what works for families’ and make it accessible to decision makers, practitioners and the general public.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter, with the ability to bring together people across a myriad of teams and backgrounds, with varying degrees of technical capability. With experience in business and data analysis and as a proactive professional, you will be able to identify risks and issues to assist the team in the successful execution of projects. We are looking for an individual who can pursue and interrogate requirements and data insights in a methodical way, while maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships, with the goal of producing great project outcomes for the Institute.
The Information Management and Technology (IMT) team is responsible for the delivery of strategic IMT initiatives and activities that enable the achievement of the Institute’s business objectives. This includes supporting the Institute’s infrastructure and operational environments, implementing and maintaining cybersecurity best practice, providing IT support services and pursuing an agenda of technological uplift to support operational excellence. The Business Insights Analyst, Information Management Technology role will be offered as a 12-month non-ongoing full-time position at either the APS 3 or 4 level. This will be with a salary of between $65,473 to $71,960 (for APS 3) or between $72,972 to $79,230 (for APS 4), depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant, plus 15.4% superannuation.
