Australian Lawyers Alliance

The Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA) is a national membership association of legal professionals working to promote access to justice and the rights of the individual. Our members specialise in areas ranging from personal injury, workers’ compensation, medical negligence, motor vehicle accidents, insurance and catastrophic injury to the rights of refugees and asylum seekers, counter-terrorism laws, financial services and royal commissions.

Role accountabilities:

• Managing the ALA’s social media channels
• Preparing the weekly ALA newsletter (ALAn)
• Photography and videography at events
• Photo/video editing
• Managing the ALA’s website
• Analysis and reporting of marketing metrics
• Preparing and sending EDMs
• Assisting the Media Manager to help distribute the ALA’s media releases
• Creating and executing campaigns to increase member engagement, event registrations and brand awareness
• Creating marketing copy and content
• Creating relevant marketing graphics, email headers and flyers
• Administrative and customer service support as necessary

Skills / Experience :

• Experience within a similar NFP organisation would be an advantage
• Excellent organisational skills;
• Ability to take initiative with a sense of urgency;
• Ability to juggle competing priorities;
• Experience with social media campaigns and associated metrics;
• Flexible and friendly attitude.
