Alzheimer's Queensland (AQ) is a leading provider of Community Care Services in Southeast Queensland. You will provide our clients with a number of services including social support (in home and the community), personal care, medication support, meal preparation, light domestic duties and transportation. The regions of travel are based within the Brisbane northern suburbs and at our Respite centre on the North side.
With a restorative and wellness approach, our support staff focus on the ultimate goal to support clients to remain at home and engaged in their local community.
Our support staff make a difference in the lives of our clients and families. The casual hours are dictated by the needs of our clients and families meaning the rosters are flexible and availability may vary.
Key attributes include respect, confidentiality, understanding, empathy as well as adherence to WHS procedures and legislation.
We encourage community support workers with at least 2 years experience in aged care to apply within this caring capacity role who are passionate about working alongside the frail aged and people with dementia who possess a genuine desire to assist clients fulfil their needs and goals.
