We also support Dolly’s Dream to help change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.
This role is based at the Foundation’s head office in South Melbourne but will primarily deliver service in Greater Metropolitan Melbourne with likely focus on Melbourne’s North & West with the capacity to deliver to some services across other regions.
Reporting into the Program Manager, TraCS, Child and Family Consultants are required to work in services when children are present to provide hands on, in-the-moment coaching and support to educators to build their capacity to provide trauma sensitive and attuned environments and relationships with their children and families.
Consultants will be required to occasionally work after hours to provide reflective support, training and guidance to further promote the educator and service capacity and to provide safe and confidential spaces for educators to discuss their work with children and families experiencing vulnerability.
