Dolly’s Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the tragic loss of their 14-year-old daughter, Dolly, to suicide, after ongoing bullying. Kate and Tick’s goal is to prevent other families walking this road.

They want to change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.

Dolly’s Dream is proudly supported by the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to keeping children and young people free from violence and trauma wherever they live, learn and play. Through Care, Prevention and Advocacy programs, we fight for their right to be safe, so their future is strong.

About the role:

Reporting to the Dolly’s Dream Brand and Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the development and execution of our digital engagement strategy with a focus on the management, optimisation, and implementation of digital campaigns across email, web, social media, and other digital channels to grow our audiences, grow revenue, and build loyalty.

To make an impact in this role, you will:

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve the Dolly’s Dream digital engagement strategy across web, search, social media, email and app (Beacon) marketing to grow our audiences, achieve revenue goals and improve engagement with our existing audiences.
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve digital campaigns with a strong focus on lead generation and conversion across multiple digital channels, including all paid digital activity for acquisition and retargeting campaigns across social media and SEM.
  • Work with the Dolly’s Dream Fundraising team to plan, build and execute supporter journeys and touchpoints across email, marketing automation, campaign landing pages, and other digital channels maximising lead generation, conversion, and ongoing engagement to build both income and participation.
  • Maintain Dolly’s Dream digital and web assets ensuring all content is accurate, timely and engaging including blogs, videos, email marketing, social media, and listings and directories, while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and best practice.
  • Develop reports to measure performance against our KPls for digital marketing activities and campaigns, generate actionable insights and learnings and communicate to relevant stakeholders.

The perfect you:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing role in a complex consumer environment or not-for-profit organisation.
  • Demonstrated success in the development and execution of digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and analytics that drive income, audience growth, and lead generation.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of tools and systems for paid campaigns, eDM building platforms (e.g MailChimp, MS Dynamics) and website CMS (e.g Craft and Wordpress), and knowledge of email marketing best practice, basic html and A/B testing.
  • Experience working in or with the rural, regional and remote sector.
