If you’re passionate about Indigenous rights and are looking for a role where you can make real social change, this is an exciting opportunity to join Amnesty International Australia’s Impact team. Our Impact team delivers campaigns to ensure human rights are protected in Australia and around the world. The Indigenous Rights Lead is responsible for driving Indigenous campaign strategy, managing the Indigenous Rights Team, Indigenous issues expertise and to be a key influencer on Indigenous issues within Amnesty International and across Australia.
To be successful in this role you will bring Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage, an in-depth understanding of Indigenous rights including historical and contemporary issues, demonstrated ability to network and communicate with diverse people including decision makers and people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally diverse backgrounds. This Indigenous identified role also leads and inspires our Indigenous Rights Team towards creating change.
