About the MyLife Project

Join our MyLife team, where we recognise individuals to be the experts in their own lives, fostering positive change through personalised interventions. Funded by Targeted Care Packages, our work focuses on helping young people transition out of or avoid entering residential care.

As part of our team, you’ll provide seamless support for children and families across various pathways, including care transitions, family reunification, and preservation. You'll work with diverse young people, applying concepts like positive psychology and developmental trauma.

Job Description

As a Case Manager - MyLife your duties will include:

  • Embracing and delivering services that are responsive to individual client needs. The MyLife program focuses on identifying, developing and investing in the skills, capabilities and assets of the young person in order to support them to establish sustainable lives.
  • Assuming responsibility for all aspects of case contracted case management in line with the relevant statutory program requirements.

Experience

You will be encouraged to utilise your passion and skills to support our young people to grow, develop and feel empowered.

To succeed in this role, you will also have knowledge of:

  • Trauma Informed Practice and Advantaged Thinking.
  • Services, processes and networks that are required and utilised by Anchor’s client group.
  • And experience related to infant and adolescent development, mental health and substance abuse.

Mandatory Qualification/s, Competencies and/or Licences

  • A minimum Bachelor of Social Work, or a related discipline, recognised in Australia together with relevant workplace experience.
