Anchor prides itself on working from the theoretical frameworks underpinning Advantaged Thinking, Trauma Informed Practice and strengths-based case management where the voice of clients is considered a priority to informing our practice and service development.
We are looking for a worker who is passionate about working with young people, who believes in young people and their aspirations, the Foyer model, and Advantaged thinking. Someone who will bring enthusiasm and energy to the role. To be successful in this role, you will great at building relationships and engaging with young people and their families, and community stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who has an advanced diploma or degree qualification (preferably Social Work, Psychology and/or related behavioural sciences) and has experience working in a community service or similar role.
As a Youth Development Worker, you will provide support to youth and youth families placed in Transitional Housing and the Lilydale Youth Foyer. You will:
You will enjoy working collaboratively and have the capacity to exercise professional judgement to ensure excellent outcomes for our clients and the team.
