Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator looking for an exciting new challenge? Look no further than Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT), where we are seeking warm, energetic individuals to join our teams based in Calwell, Googong, Scullin and Franklin.

The opportunity

As an Early Childhood Educator at Anglicare, you will play a key role in supporting our Team Leaders and Educational Leaders to implement, and deliver high-quality educational play-based programmes for children aged 0-5 years.

You will establish warm, nurturing relationships with each child and friendly, supportive relationships with their families, while attending to children's health and wellbeing throughout the day. The Early Childhood Educator will assist the Team Leader in developing an educational program, through the principles, practices and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and/or My Time, Our Place (MTOP) to provide them with the best possible start to life.

What's needed to succeed

  • ACECQA approved relevant qualification in Early Childhood or actively working towards
  • Experience working in an early childhood education and care setting, with a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
