Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher looking for an exciting new challenge? Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT), is a not-for-profit organisation seeking a qualified Early Childhood Teacher or working towards an ECT qualification to join our team at Calwell Early Childhood Centre.

The Opportunity

As an Early Childhood Teacher at Calwell Early Childhood Centre, you will play a key role in leading the implementation and delivery of high-quality educational play-based programs for school aged children from birth to 5 years.

You will establish warm, nurturing relationships with each child and friendly, supportive relationships with their families while attending to children's learning and well-being throughout the day. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will create, implement, and lead innovative and responsive educational play-based programs informed by the principles, practices, and outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework, and the National Quality Standards.

What's needed to succeed?

  • ACECQA approved Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching/ Education, or working towards an ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teaching/Education
  • Experience in leadership Early Childhood Education and Care settings, with a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and relevant legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and creativity, with a passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • Commitment to Anglicare's mission and values of compassion, respect, justice, and excellence.
