Who are we looking for?

A proactive and improvement-oriented Finance Manager to lead our corporate services team (including accounts payable and accounts receivable) and provide finance support to our corporate stakeholders including IT, People Culture, Facility, Marketing etc.

As our successful Finance Manager, you will need to be someone who has proven experience in leading a team to deliver high level of services, comprehensive knowledge around monthly financial reporting, statutory report as well as budget/forecast. Your passion for continuous improvement and your ability to build a strong positive team culture are also highly desirable.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Timely and accurate reporting of monthly results (including cashflow)
  • Ensure all external compliance deadlines and other regulatory reporting and accreditation reporting requirements are met for the portfolio, including BAS and FBT returns etc.
  • Liaise with external auditors and coordination internally within the wider finance team to provide information as requested to assist with the annual financial statement and audit.
  • Overseeing the CAPEX and fixed assets register.
  • Support in setting financial budgets in line with organisational timeframes and objectives.
  • Provide leadership, direction, mentoring and support to the team to support a high-performance culture with a focus on innovative business improvement ideology.
  • Partner with Corporate Services stakeholders to deliver financial solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Cultivate engagement with internal teams, through professional service, quality advice and innovative ideas.
  • Ensure data accuracy and assist your team in identifying and providing valuable insights for the business.

What do you need to bring?

  • Australian Accredited Degree in Accounting or similar, majoring in Accounting (essential).
  • Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia or CPA Australia (essential).
  • Ability to think innovatively and collaboratively to problem solve and develop strategic and operational plans.
  • Experience providing high level business accounting services and financial advice within a large and diverse organisation.
