Who are we looking for?

We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join our fun and supportive multi-disciplinary Allied Health team in OATS. Outreach AnglicareSA Therapeutic Services (OATS) provides specialist intervention, education and therapy services to children, young people and adults within education, community and work settings. Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve, and we take pride in fostering a collaborative and fun work environment.

Leveraging your exceptional interpersonal skills, you will contribute to the development and delivery of individualised services tailored to the unique needs of each customer. Your focus will extend to supporting individuals across their activities of daily living, making a meaningful impact on their overall well-being.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Assessing the needs of children and young people living with disability.
  • Delivering evidence-based speech pathology intervention across a range of service areas including speech, language, fluency, feeding, Augmentative and alternative communication as well as social skills.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development, supervision and peer mentoring.
  • Contributing to the innovation and growth of services to enable children and young people to live their lives to the fullest.

What do you need to bring?

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Speech Pathology (graduates welcome to apply!).
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Knowledge of a range of developmental delays and disorders.
  • Previous experience providing speech pathology intervention to children, young people and adults with complex communication needs (desirable).
  • A current Australian driver's license and roadworthy vehicle
