Your role

Manage and lead a team of 5 working in Analytics, Riskman, Information Classification and Management and Outcomes and Research. A role which blends your technical skills, leadership skills and ability to analyse data.

Articulate, collect, analyse and report on outcomes and the impact that services are having on the lives of children, young people and families who receive AV’s services.

The role will support the design and delivery of evaluation projects and data analytics reports through a thorough investigation of all data collections held by AV. Drive continuous improvement in relation to systems and processes around data collection, integrity governance and use. It will also drive service improvement and efficiency through strong data reporting on performance and impact.

Key objectives

  • Project driven key performance indicators working to tight timelines.
  • Data analytics using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Reflect and look for trends and risks.
  • Articulate, collect, analyse, and report on outcomes and the impact of services.
  • Support the effective use of data to help drive strategy. 

Make your mark

  • Bachelor of IT or Science, Masters or MBA preferred.
  • Lead a team with empathy and strong open communication.
  • Agile methodology.
  • Certificates in SQL and SaaS and Tableau would be highly regarded.
  • Qualifications in statistics and program evaluation would be useful but not essential.
  • Mandatory technical certification in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • A comprehensive understanding and experience in research, data analytics and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience in co-design for complex projects.
  • Project management skills to ensure projects are well planned, appropriate consultation is achieved, deliverables are on time and of a high quality.
  • Advanced data analytics technical skills and management of data-focused teams and projects - capacity to extract, manipulate and present data in innovative, attractive and user friendly methods that is quickly digestible.

Make it work

  • Total remuneration package of $150,000
  • Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card so you keep more of what you earn.
  • January 13th or January 20th 2025 start dates.
  • Contract to 2nd February 2026.
  • Hybrid working, 2 days from home 3 days in the office located at Collingwood, close to public transport.
