Anglicare Victoria provides foster care for children and young people who are temporarily unable to live at home. Anglicare Victoria is the State’s largest provider of foster care and plays a vital role in protecting children and young people by ensuring they have a safe, stable and nurturing home while their family cannot care for them.

Day to day, you’re going to be advocating for children in placements, co-ordinating supports, running care team meetings, completing administrative tasks and ultimately making sure children and young people in foster care are well cared for.

The skills you will use day to day:

  • Provide children & young people with foster care placements that will support their development & maintain safety.
  • Engage with our volunteer carers making sure that the work you do behind the scenes sets them up for success.
  • Provide case management to children and young people in foster care placements.
  • We want to see a passion for working with children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with DFFH and other services providers.
  • Undertake risk assessments.
  • Be highly organised with the ability to manage competing administrative tasks, home visits and phone calls.

Minimum requirements:

  • Completed Diploma of Community Services, Youth Services or similar.
  • Full Victorian Drivers Licence.
