The Navigator Program is an intensive, targeted, education support service where Case Managers work in collaboration with schools, young people, families, and external stakeholders to find ways to achieve educational goals.
In 2023-24, 847 young people were supported to re-engage with their education through the Navigator program.
What our students say: “This program has made my future just that little bit brighter, and that’s what I so desperately needed”
You will primarily be working with children who have disconnected from school. Many of these young people have complex barriers to educational engagement & have not responded to school-based engagement interventions. Young people may experience barriers such as mental health, disability, and neurodiversity as well as trauma.
Your role is to work with young people, their families & support networks to address these issues underlying disengagement & help them re-engage with their education & achieve their goals.
What our people say: “I first came to Anglicare because of their reputation for delivering high-quality services. The size of the organisation was quite appealing as well. I’ve stayed for the same reasons - our size and strength means we have a lot of support structures and infrastructure that support us to do our work.”
