Your role:

You will coordinate the provision of services role within the Kirrang Wilam Enhanced Youth Refuge. This position requires an individual with a strong working knowledge of the youth homelessness sector and the ability to work with young people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

This is a complex service area where you will work with young people for around 6 weeks so it is integral to the success of the program that you know how to influence systems and guide others to navigate those complex systems.

The skills we are looking for in your application

• Provide leadership, support and supervision to a team of 7 support workers, case management and therapeutic employees.
• Manage the day-to-day running of the refuge.
• Broad knowledge of the systems and services that surround young people.
• Experience in housing, community services and youth mental health.
• Ensure that therapeutic interventions and responses are used to work with all young people.
• Commitment to providing quality care to young people.
