Your role:

This is a leadership position that sits across a range of Family & Community Services Programs delivered by Anglicare Victoria in the Hume Merri-bek Region, including:

  • Integrated Family Services
  • Therapeutic Family Violence Services
  • Functional Family Therapy - YJ
  • Parentzone
  • Broadmeadows Women's Community House. 

What you can expect to be doing:

The Practice Leader will support the Program Manager in the provision of practice leadership, ongoing quality improvement and program development across the Family Services suite of programs. This involves the provision of leadership and support to Team Leaders and their teams in enhancing practice, program compliance and implementation of sector reform.

This position is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership and program development skills and practice expertise in child and family services.

Who we would like to see express interest:

  • Skills in providing expert case consultation and advice to complex cases, particularly around safety and wellbeing assessments.
  • Excellent knowledge of, and experience in the application of relevant theoretical approaches that underpin casework practice to vulnerable children, young people and families.
  • Highly developed skills in delivering on projects within required timeframes.
  • Someone looking to develop those leadership skills and practice development skills alongside an experienced Program Manager.
  • Someone who can contribute across a broad portfolio of programs. 

What makes this such a great role for you:

  • You get a salary of $129,763 FTE plus super @ 11.5%
  • Hourly rate is $65.67
  • Part time 2 days per week (so pro rata the above salary to 15.2 hours)
  • Fixed term to June 2025 but may be extended dependent upon program needs.
  • Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.
  • SCHCADS award level 8.3
