About the role: 

The Senior Business Development role is pivotal within Anglicare Victoria's Reach and Impact team and will report to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

Reach and Impact within Anglicare Victoria are enablers and innovators. This role along with key stakeholders will identify and develop new opportunities and ideas to solve complex problems, drawing on National and International research and evidence to drive growth, advocacy and influence reform. 

We require a highly skilled individual who has demonstrated expertise in successfully initiating, leading and developing Government tenders, grants, business cases and submissions. You will also have a thorough understanding of Government purchasing and funding frameworks and policy environment as well as the ability to write for impact for a broad range of audiences and contexts.

About our ideal candidate:

  • Comprehensive understanding of and extensive experience working within Government and/or Community sector service delivery organisations.
  • Success initiating, leading and developing Government tenders/ grants, business cases and submissions.
  • Thorough understanding of Government purchasing and funding frameworks and related policy environment in both Victoria and Nationally.
  • Ability to write for impact for a broad range of audiences and contexts. 
  • Extensive understanding of operational service delivery models and related practice and performance requirements within the child, youth and family and related sectors.
  • The ability to establish and maintain mechanisms for effective governance and decision-making with tenders, grants, funding submissions and proposals.
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Strong leadership, management and engagement skills enhancing collaborative work and strengthening organisational capacity.

  • A total salary package of $170,000 to $180,000.
