This will be dual role, The role will be 1 day per fortnight at Team Leader SCHADS 7 classification to allow for some supervisory duties and the remaining 7 days per fortnight at SCHADS 6 classification. This is a great opportunity for a senior practitioner to get some leadership experience over an extended period.

This team has a really positive outlook and works well together supporting one another to generate the best possible outcomes. You are in and around the office quite a bit in this role so you will get to know your colleagues and benefit from the support they can offer.

Anglicare Victoria provides foster care for children and young people who are temporarily unable to live at home. Anglicare Victoria is the State’s largest provider of foster care and plays a vital role in protecting children and young people by ensuring they have a safe, stable and nurturing home while their family cannot care for them.

Day to day your are going to be advocating for children in placements, attending care team meetings, completing administrative tasks and ultimately making sure children and young people in foster care get stable and supportive care. The role involves the support, assessment and review of our amazing volunteer carers and the portfolio management/supervision of our intake worker.

  • Providing children & young people with foster care placements that will support their development & maintain safety.
  • Engage with our volunteer carers making sure that the work you do behind the scenes sets them up for success.
  • Provide case management to children and young people in foster care placements.

  • Work collaboratively with DFFH and other services providers.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing administrative and supervisory tasks, case management and home visits.

Make it Work:

  • This role will be at a dual pay grade, SCHADS 6 @ .7 FTE and SCHADS 7 @ .1 FTE 
  • Salary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.
  • Part time, limited tenure until February 2026 - 4 days per week.
