About headspace

headspace are a busy and innovative youth mental health service providing a variety of mental health, medical, sexual and other health related services as well as vocational, functional groups and social services to young people aged 12 to 25 years and their families.

About the Opportunity

As the Clinical Lead at headspace, you'll be at the forefront of providing compassionate and effective care to young people and their families. In this role, you'll provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to our committed Primary Team, ensuring that interventions both evidence-based and tailored to meet the unique developmental needs of our young people.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you'll lead quality assurance initiatives such as file auditing, clinical reviews and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within our team. Your dedication to upholding the values of Anglicare NT will ensure that we continue to provide quality services that make a positive impact in our community.

What we are looking for:

  • Approved tertiary qualification (Allied Health) and 5 years' experience in a mental health-related discipline and registration with the relevant regulatory body such as AHPRA or membership of and adherence to professional standards, for example AASW for social workers.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience (minimum 2 years) in providing clinical leadership and supervision within a multi-disciplinary team, including registration as a Board Approved Supervisor (if Psychologist)
  • A passion for youth mental health, in particular working with young Aboriginal people and their families, and keen interest in improving service, access, and cultural safety of primary youth services.
