About the Opportunity

Anglicare NT’s Partnership Support Service (PSS) is founded on respectful two-way partnerships with Aboriginal controlled organisations to deliver strong and sustainable services, prioritising shared learning, respect, and strong relationships. The Director Partnership Support Service will lead a high functioning team committed to providing implementation assistance, building capacity of, and supporting growth in Aboriginal Controlled Organisations entering or wanting to expand their role in the delivery of human services. Driven by the needs of our partners, and using collaborative and culturally safe approaches, you will maintain internal and key stakeholder relationships, navigate complex projects, and fulfil contractual obligations.

About You

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who has a demonstrated commitment to supporting the self determination of Aboriginal people and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations. Your extensive knowledge of human rights, social justice and placed based approaches will see you inform organisational strategy, growth, and partnerships. Your adaptability will see you respond constructively to the changing needs of the organisation and those of our partner organisations to ensure success in a complex operating environment. You will be collaborator, committed to successfully navigating and sustaining internal and external stakeholder relationships, effectively representing Anglicare NT at high level meetings.

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting the self-determination of Aboriginal people and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations and knowledge of human rights, social justice and place-based approaches.
  • Higher education qualifications in social sciences and / or a business-related discipline along with extensive experience in relevant roles including within the Community Services Sector and experience at senior management and or executive levels.
  • Excellent analysis and strategic writing skills, ability to conceptualise and implement innovative solutions to challenges and pursue growth opportunities.

  • NDIS Worker Registration (or willingness to obtain on appointment)
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations (primary plus 2 boosters) subject to medical exemption.
