Anglicare NT’s Money Support Hub provide free and confidential financial assistance to people in Nhulunbuy and surrounding communities. Our staff provide free, culturally informed financial counselling, advocacy, financial literacy and education to individuals, families and groups. We work closely with community leaders and partner organisations.
Based in Nhulunbuy, the Financial Capability Worker is a valuable member of the East Arnhem Money Support Hub.
You will play a pivotal role in our team, working collaboratively to support individuals and families through life transitions. Your focus will be on delivering culturally appropriate financial literacy training, both in individual and group settings. By equipping people with essential budgeting skills and fostering sound financial decision-making, you will directly contribute to reducing financial and social exclusion in our community.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working withChildren (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current NT manual driver’s licence.
Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
