The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmanian Branch (ANMF Tas) is the largest union and professional body for the nursing and midwifery workforce in Tasmania. Position Summary:

The System Administrator role ensures the smooth operations and maintenance of our IT systems and infrastructure. It is a pivotal role at the ANMF, collaborating with the Operations Manager, to develop and maintain clean IT solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity across the organisation.

A key focus area is refining the ANMF’s complex CRM system. This involves collaborating across teams to understand the business requirements and to translate them into technical solutions within the CRM framework.

Responsibilities include configuring, customising, and optimising the system while ensuring a user-friendly experience for our team.

Overseeing data management, integration with other systems, and CRM support and training.

Experience in our CRM platform iMIS is not a requirement, and training is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the IT infrastructure and data, not limited to the CRM and M365
  • Configure, customise and optimise our CRM and integrated systems
  • Assist in the development of PowerBI reports and data analytics
  • Liaise with external support providers
  • Provide high level technical support and data analysis
  • Use SQL to analyse and resolve issues
  • Ensure robust cyber security protocols are in place to safeguard the IT infrastructure and data assets
  • Maintain data integrity
  • Provide support and training to staff
  • IT infrastructure management including assets, telephone and security systems
  • Website development and maintenance
  • Management of systems to support record management in line with the ANMF retention and disposal schedule
  • Ensuring system support documentation is created and maintained

Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary IT qualifications or strong experience in a similar role
  • SQL knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge and experience in system administration of IT systems
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in complex database systems, with the ability tailor systems to specific needs
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Content Management Systems
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Commitment to the principles of Unionism

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience in iMIS, HTML, CSS, Javascript and PowerBI
  • Project management experience
  •  Experience in Wordpress
