Projects Team Manager

Annecto
  • Seeking a Projects Team Manager
  • Permanent full-time, hybrid work

Annecto’s origins trace back to the 1950s, when a group of parents from the Western suburbs of Melbourne decided to create their own safe spaces for their children living with disability. Over the years, Annecto has continued to grow and develop its services in disability and aged care, leading the way with in-home services and independent living.

Today, Annecto works across multiple regions and states of Australia and works closely with communities across Victoria, NSW, ACT and Queensland. Annecto supports not only the individual, but the community as a whole to be healthier, self-determining and more autonomous based on the original culture of that community.

This position is responsible for managing the Annecto Projects team and the operations of the Project Office, providing expert guidance on project governance, methodology, consultation, communication and evaluation of projects. It sits within the Strategy unit but operates across the organisation and has organisational wide responsibility.

However, the role will also have cross functional responsibility for all project leaders and their projects across the organisation through strong collaboration and development of capability and capacity of Annecto.

The role involves a balance between project management (50%) and people management (50%).

Annecto has a number of frameworks which underpin the way we approach and deliver on the work. This includes incorporating key concepts from the UIC Uimprove framework[1], specifically:

  1. An organisation improves one project at a time
  2. In 85% of cases the issue is the process, not the person
  3. The people doing the work are involved in developing the solutions. The right people at the right time from all levels of the organisation participate in the project.
