About this role

The Australian and New Zealand Paediatric Intensive Care Registry (ANZPICR) Program Manager is responsible for management of the Registry under the guidance of the Registry Director and the ANZICS Management Committee.

All specialist Paediatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs) in Australia and New Zealand submit to ANZPICR, with data contributed by all Children’s Critical Care Units (CCCUs) across Australia and New Zealand.

The ANZPICR Program Manager’s key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Registry to ensure high quality data collection and provision of risk adjusted reports for participating units.
  • Provision of education for data collectors and health care professionals to support the contribution of high-quality data to the Registry from contributing sites.
  • Provide support for research projects generated through the Paediatric Study Group and other requests for data.
  • Support projects that engage the Paediatric Registry with the ANZICS Registry Team and wider ICU community.
