About the Role

We are looking for someone who can give operational support to our Nhulunbuy Office so it can function well and grow in the spirit of our vision to be a bridge between the Yolŋu and Balanda worlds. The Nhulunbuy Office Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our team through managing the office corporate services functions, supporting our training delivery team, delivering logistical and administrative help to our local Djägamirr (Managers) and other staff. This role will also focus on ensuring our office reception is professional, culturally respectful and friendly!

Role Key Duties

  • Provide High Quality Reception and Front of House Services
  • Maintain site based Financial, Fleet and Facilities Processes
  • Coordinate administration for ARDS’ Cultural Competency Training
  • Provide Effective General Administration Assistance
  • Make Travel Arrangements and Support Organisational and Program Activities

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Has strong people skills and is committed to quality customer service
  • Wants to contribute to a productive, cooperative and friendly workplace
  • Wants to work collaboratively as part of a team for an Aboriginal Community organisation
  • Is very organised, resilient, able to multitask and meet deadlines while working under pressure
  • Has good working knowledge of key financial processes
  • Has well developed ICT skills (including Microsoft suite and using IT equipment)
  • Has experience in managing equipment, facilities, assets and vehicles and managing travel booking systems
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Has strong attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Is able to supervise and mentor a receptionist
  • Can identify and implement improvements to processes in the Nhulunbuy office.
