For decades, this not-for-profit (NFP) has provided crucial support to Australians facing their darkest moments and leading the way in suicide prevention. With more people reaching out for support than ever before, they’re looking to enhance their self-support offering of clinically accurate, yet accessible information and resources.
Working in the Product and Experience team you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring mental health best practices are informing online products, services and experiences.
A key pillar of this NFP’s strategy is to further enhance its digital presence, by offering improved online self-help information, stories and resources for Australians seeking mental health and wellbeing support.
As the Wellbeing Specialist you’ll be working closely with design, content, product, technical, and other stakeholders to support the creation and refinement of content, ensuring it is clinically accurate, informed by lived experience, and engaging for Australians no matter where they are on their help-seeking journey.
Your understanding of the mental health ecosystem in suicide prevention, including navigating clinical terminology, the latest research, and practical strategies and advice, will enable the team to produce quality, safe and clinically accurate information and resources at scale.
Most importantly, your work will have a direct, meaningful and lasting impact on thousands of Australians.
You’ll have direct experience in mental health, whether that be through psychology, counselling, social work, or a related field. A deep understanding of mental health trends, best practices and terminology is required for this role.
High in empathy, you'll be an expert communicator and comfortable looking at the world from a user perspective. You’ll be passionate about how digital technologies and content can be leveraged to support Australians seeking support.
There are some great benefits to working for this NFP too, including flexible work practices, extra training and development, 14 weeks paid parental leave, and salary packaging.
