Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Officer to join our team. This role will be pivotal in enhancing ASMIRT’s brand presence, promoting our events and initiatives, and engaging our diverse membership base. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and an aptitude for creating compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with a broad range of audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote ASMIRT's events, publications, and services.
• Manage and grow ASMIRT's digital presence, including social media channels, and email newsletters.
• Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns from concept through to delivery, ensuring they align with ASMIRT’s objectives and brand guidelines.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, utilising analytics to inform future strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to create engaging content, including articles, videos, and graphics.
• Assist in the planning and promotion of ASMIRT’s annual conferences, workshops, and other events.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in marketing and communication.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the healthcare or not-for-profit sectors.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content management systems.
• Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High level of attention to detail and creativity.
