The Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA) is the professional organisation for Australasian sonographers who are the experts in ultrasound.

The purpose of the ASA is to foster a sonography profession that delivers high quality ultrasound with a vision of creating a healthier world through sonographer expertise. The ASA is a not-for-profit organisation, working to advance the health of the public and to advance the education for those performing ultrasound.

The ASA is looking for a dynamic Partnership Development Officer to support our mission by securing and nurturing strategic partnerships that elevate the ASA’s profile and increase revenue streams.

About the Role

As the Partnership Development Officer, you will play a key role in identifying, building, and maintaining strategic relationships with industry partners. Working closely with the General Manager, Events & Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that grow ASA’s revenue through corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate & Industry Partnerships: Research and approach potential partners, manage relationships with current partners, and drive growth in the number and value of ASA’s partnerships
• Revenue Growth: Develop and present business cases for new revenue opportunities, enhance current revenue streams, and meet or exceed sponsorship and advertising targets
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse competitor offerings and market trends to optimize ASA’s value propositions for partners
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with ASA colleagues and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.

About You

• Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on delivering value to partners
• Self-motivated and able to co-ordinate multiple priorities effectively
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector and relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded
• Demonstrated ability to manage daily workload, show attention to detail and meet deadlines within specific time frames
• Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional travel and hours outside the standard business day.
