Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) has grown to become Australia's largest national educational program for children on the autism spectrum, with nine independent schools operating from 67 locations in NSW and South Australia catering to approximately 1,200 students. Aspect is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and flexible Education leader to work as a member of our student-centred, multi-disciplinary education team.
Lead and collaborate with a team of specialists including teachers, teacher's aides, school therapists, coordinators, administrators and other Aspect staff to deliver our evidence-informed, student focused autism-specific approach - the Aspect Comprehensive Approach [ACA]. Use a student-centred and family-focused approach to ensure the delivery of quality educational standards. Aspect Vern Barnett School provides placement for approximately 120 students on the autism spectrum from ages 4 to 16 years from Forestville, as well as from five satellite classes within the Catholic and Department of Education schools in Sydney’s northern suburbs.
