Position Purpose:

As an ASVB Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the ASVB's growth and success under the guidance of our ASE Executive Officer. Your work will directly impact our ability to make a difference in the world. If you're driven by purpose, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Duties: Keep the gears turning by providing top-notch administrative support. Manage events, subscriptions, financial records, and more.
  • Customer Sales and Support: Be the friendly face of the ASVB. Provide exceptional customer service through various channels, including phone, email, online and in-person interactions. Help users navigate their journey with ASVB.
  • Marketing and Communications: Spread the word about ASVB's incredible work. Manage social media, create engaging content, and contribute to our presence at conferences and tradeshows.

Skills:

We're looking for a candidate who possesses a diverse skill set, including excellent communication, computer literacy, strong attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. If you don’t know something, you’re the kind of person who can work it out, with a passion for continuous learning. You should also have the ability to work independently and make decisions that drive results.

Work Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience in business administration
  • Customer service and sales experience
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications, especially in the digital realm, is a plus
  • Familiarity with Human Services and/or Social Impact Measurement will be considered favourably
  • A relevant qualification, such as social impact or marketing communications, is advantageous
  • A current driver's license.
