What you will be doing
- Support volunteer visitors, including onboarding, training and record keeping
- Implement volunteer recruitment/retention strategies
- Match volunteers to older people, considering culture, language, interests etc.
- Liaise with residential care and home care in-charges or coordinators to organise volunteer visits
- Administrative tasks, documentation and reporting related to delivery of Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS)

Essential Selection Criteria
- Cert IV or higher in Volunteer Management, Coordination of Volunteer Programs, or a similar discipline
- Minimum 1-year (Diploma) or 2-year (Certificate) experience in volunteer management with a NFP
- Sound organisational, planning and time management skills to meet KPIs
- Ability to establish, maintain and strengthen effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- High interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner
- Intermediate computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Full NSW Driver’s license and a reliable fully insured vehicle
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check Clearances (Paid Worker)
- Current NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) Clearance
- Certificate of COVID-19 vaccination including the booster (3 in total) and up-to-date flu vaccination
Desirable Selection Criteria
- Ability to speak a second community language other than English
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Experience working in a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) environment
