<h3>About the role:</h3>
The HSP/RISE Engagement Manager is a critical role in leading engagement activities for Aurora&rsquo;s High School Program (HSP) and Redefining Indigenous Definitions of Success in Education (RISE) project to support Indigenous High school students. This is a newly created role is pivotal in fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders, including participants, partners, community members, and internal teams. This position requires a strategic approach to programmatic engagement and stakeholder management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive engagement initiatives that align with organisational goals.

<h3>Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Support the development of a long-term vision for the HSP and RISE project in alignment with external factors and internal resources.</li>
<li>Lead the development of program strategies, objectives, and plans in alignment with organisational goals and priorities as it relates to engagement activities.</li>
<li>Lead the recruitment process of students into the HSP and RISE project from school MoU sign off to student application approval.</li>
<li>Plan and execute program participant engagement activities including HSP camps, RISE one day engagements and family days, learning plans and other activities</li>
<li>Design and coordinate training on program content, planning, assessment and pedagogy for program staff, Elders, and Mentors.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including schools Elders and Suppliers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.</li>
<li>Identify and collaborate with appropriate external facilitators and organisations to deliver engagement activities and lessons.</li>
<li>Work closely with Elders on curriculum and pedagogy implementation.</li>
<li>Establish collaborative relationships with students, parents/carers, communities, curriculum experts, and key Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, plan and execute real-time and post-program evaluation processes with program participants, families, Aurora staff, Elders and Mentors, teachers, key stakeholders and independent evaluators.</li>
<li>Identify key stakeholders relevant to achieving Aurora&rsquo;s mission, objectives, and projects and plan and execute stakeholder engagement initiatives</li>

<li>Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate across teams.</li>
<li>Well-developed written communication capabilities.</li>
<li>Ability to balance taking direction and exercising initiative.</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in education, project management, or a related field or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>5+ years experience in Partnerships, Engagement and Relationship Management</li>
<li>Experience using Microsoft suite of programs and CRM</li>
