Role Overview

This position is responsible for:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events and activations around the country.
  • Assist with all aspects of our event program from concept development, through to venue and entertainment selection and the roll out of education programs, awards program, activations and exhibitions.
  • Work with sponsors and partners on roll out and execution in a professional but dynamic manner
  • Introduce and foster new partnerships
  • Diligently oversee the timings and coordination of marketing and promotional roll outs through all touch points including web, social and digital
  • Work with internal and external teams to curate events to ensure industry exposure
  • Collaborate with the marketing team
  • Rally the team to pull together resources in an efficient manner to create unforgettable experiences

  • Have previous experience in event management
  • Have worked on awards programs or roadshows
  • Live and breathe creativity and can bring “big sky ideas” to the table
  • Are a whiz at project management platforms
  • Are energetic and thrive in a fast past environment
  • Can problem solve under pressure in high stakes situations
  • Have impeccable attention to detail

Qualifications

Essential

  • Qualifications in event management or currently studying events
  • Working with Children clearance
  • Experience in a related field or similar role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent IT and data management skills
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritise to achieve defined team and individual daily, weekly and monthly KPIs

  • Capacity to work efficiently on multiple events, ensuring that event deadlines and budgets are met
  • Interest in the health and exercise industry
