As an NDIS-registered provider, one of our key departments is Behaviour Support, working closely with participants, families, and support networks to enhance quality of life and reduce behaviours of concern.

We are looking for a passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. You will play an integral role in delivering personalised, culturally sensitive support that promotes independence and well-being. Guided by our values of Energy, Empathy, Connection, and Impact, you will help create an inclusive community that addresses the diverse needs of our clients, ensuring they receive the support they deserve and empowering them to thrive.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS Practitioner ID
  • Relevant allied health tertiary degree
  • Excellent report writing, computer, and time management skills
  • At least 1 year of experience, eager to learn
  • Passion for the industry
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and lead stakeholders

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Write Comprehensive & Interim Behaviour Support Plans, Functional Behaviour Assessments
  • Conduct assessments and gather information
  • Collaborate with families and supports
  • Adhere to NDIS Quality & Safeguard Commission standards
  • Build rapport with participants and families Conduct training and skill-building sessions
  • Implement data collection and document restrictive practices
