Caseworkers in our Migration Support Programs provide casework support to migrants in transition, including people seeking asylum, other temporary visa holders, people who have experienced or at risk of experiencing forced marriage and trafficking. This includes emergency relief, referrals on to relevant services, stakeholder engagement and advocacy for their clients needs in the wider community. They will provide individualised support to clients to identify strengths and needs and work alongside them in setting and attaining identified goals.
They will also contribute to co-design process and adapt and innovate ways of working in order to improve Red Cross’s response to the needs of migrants in transition.
