Australian Red Cross is recruiting Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinators to join our international aid worker (delegate) register.
Australian Red Cross deploys (in-country and remotely) these Coordinators to both international emergency and recovery operations and to strengthen the logistics capacity of Red Cross/Red Crescent (RCRC) National Societies.
The delegate will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of goods and equipment, to optimise service quality and cost effectiveness and to meet the needs of the Federation and partners. This role carries both coordination and operational support responsibilities. The role will provide logistics support services and coordinate country level supply chain service provision in conjunction with NS and under the technical guidance of the IFRC. The Delegate will build relationships with NS Logistics teams in order to share learning and build capabilities to enable the transference of the logistics activities in the operations from IFRC to NS responsibility.
If you possess the skills and behavioural capabilities outlined in the attached job profile, are committed to the ethics and principles of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement and are available to deploy internationally, we encourage you to apply.
Red Cross is built on the power of humanity. We believe in inclusiveness, diversity and equality and are committed to ensuring that our international workforce is a reflection of that. We encourage talented people from all backgrounds, abilities and identities to apply to our vacancies. We offer flexible working practices, including remote-based opportunities and place delegate’s health and well-being at the forefront of the support we provide our international workforce.
