Purpose of the Position

The Membership & Sales Coordinator contributes to the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Australian College of Midwives by providing efficient administrative and sales support to both Membership and Partnerships and Events teams.

The Membership & Sales Coordinator will provide members and other stakeholders with products and services and will support the Membership Manger and State Branches to deliver increased membership.

By having good working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers, the Membership & Sales Coordinator has a broad overview of the organisation’s activities yet has detailed knowledge of processes that are within the defined scope of duties.

Duties

The Membership & Sales Coordinator is responsible for:

Providing exceptional customer service to our members and prospective members and responding to stakeholder enquiries in a timely manner

  • Coordinating Midwife Recruitment Advertising on the College’s Jobs Board
  • Managing the Organisation Partnerships and assisting with proactively seeking new opportunities.
  • Coordinating sales of the College’s promotional and clinical merchandise including stock control, dispatching orders and resolving member enquiries (in Ultimo office location).
  • Assisting the Member Services Lead in membership tasks.
  • Providing data analysis to ACM Branch Committees and ACM Teams as required
  • Assisting with the promotion, support and administration of ACM Programs and Events when required

Required Skills & Experience

Demonstrated administration skills, communication skills, in-depth working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.

  • Knowledge of IMiS CRM system, or similar CRM desirable
  • Capacity to take direction, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
  • A minimum of 3 years administration management and customer service experience.
  • Required to work in the ACM Ultimo office minimum two days per week
