The Back on Track program offers an alternative to detention and other pathways for diverting young people from the youth justice system. It provides assessment, case management, support, restorative justice, and education programs for young people referred to the program. The program uses a trauma-informed and strong cultural approach to build resilience and promote re-engagement in education or employment, with the aim of preventing reoffending and enhancing well-being and safety.
